Perched on a tuffaceous hill overlooking the northern shores of Lake Bolsena, Gradoli is a hidden gem in the province of Viterbo (VT). It’s a town where the volcanic soil doesn't just dictate the landscape—it dictates the lifestyle.

The town is dominated by the massive Palazzo Farnese, a 16th-century masterpiece commissioned by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese (later Pope Paul III). Its imposing presence serves as a reminder of the powerful families that once controlled this strategic corner of Upper Tuscia.
